PC Step 1:
After receiving the email with a reset link, click on the reset link and then "Open in a New Tab".
PC Step 2:
After opening the link, you should see the following page, please make sure you record the Private Key displayed on this page.
Mobile Step 3:
Open the Google Authenticator on your mobile phone and tab the red "+" at the bottom.
Mobile Step 4:
Type in the Private Key you get from step 2.
Mobile Step 5:
Type in your BigONE account name and the Private Key you get from step 2. (Your BigONE account name is the email address you used to register the account) After all is done, click "Add".
Mobile Step 6:
After you successfully add your account into Google Authenticator the account will be displayed at the very bottom. There will be another account with the same email address and that is your "pre-reset" account, please make sure you use the new account only.
PC Step 7:
Type in the new Google verification code into the page you opened in step 2 and submit. Please make sure you type in the right verification code and finish all the actions within 30 seconds.
PC Step 8:
The system will notify you that the reset has been completed.
PC Step 9:
Open a new tab and go to BigONE's login page and log in. https://b1.run/sessions/new
PC Step 10:
Type in the Google Verification Code.
PC Step 11:
If you can successfully log in, it means your reset has been completed.
Note:
For safety reasons, you will only have one chance to submit the correct verification code in step 7. If you failed to reset, the link will expire, and you will have to wait for another 48 hours before getting the next reset email. (Getting the second by replying to the first one.) If you failed to reset the Google 2FA for the second time, please reply to the email with screenshots for every step, and we will look into the problem.
