BigONE experienced a maintenance of our contract trading system at 12:20 (UTC+8) on January 20, 2021 to prevent our users affected by those temporary problems of cloud platform service, and now all maintenance has been completed.
However, during the maintenance period, there was an irregular market volatility that literally make some impact on the calculation of the funding rate. As a result, the funding rate charged at 10:00 (UTC+8) on January 21, 2021 is abnormal, and some contracts are based on 0.3% of funds. Now, BigONE decided to deal with the situation urgently based on the user-first concept, we will compensate users for those who were charged for an extra fee during the maintenance period. This part of the fee will be subsidized by the platform (because of the fee is collected by both long and short parties).
User who have held positions and paid fees at 10:00 on January 21, 2021 (UTC+8), please check your funding account for your compensation. If you have not received it yet or have other questions, please contact our customer service and they will be able to help you out.
